Mountain Garb |
|
The Mountain Garb may be worn by male Monks who have gained ninety-seven or more Insights. The fur, leather and enforced metal combination provide enough muscle-strenghtening resistance and flexibility for any monk to finally reach perfection in their chosen form, no matter what his preferred fighting style may be. The Plain Mountain Garb is crafted by visiting the fae who lives deep within the Eastern Woodlands ((20-1)). This elusive Mundane will offer you three ways to earn this armor: Talgonite: To become an Aisling of Talgonite, you will need 25 finished talos and all your labor. Hy-Brasyl: To become an Aisling of Hy-Brasyl, you will need one piece of finished hy-brasyl and contest recognition at the Aisling level. Mythril: To become an Aisling of Mythril, you will need 10 mythril shields and proof that you have mentored 200 Aislings. Rumor has it that the shields must all be consecrated to the same god, but the Mundanes will not confirm this. The Loures Mountain Garb is crafted by the Mundanes with paola nut, hyssop, spirulina and capsic bark. The Suomi variant is dyed with paola nut, hyssop, spirulina and capsic bark. Loures dyes are available from the Piet higgler. Suomi dyes are available from the Suomi smith. Rucesion dyes are available from the Rucesion higgler. Mileth dyes are available from the Mileth higgler. The Oren Mountain Garb can be bought ready-made on Oren Island. Dyeing a garment requires two Aislings: one with Tailoring ability and a second who is a respected citizen. All dyeing uses up an Aisling's limited time, and higher insight armors may require a full day's labor. |
